My name is Denise Schmidt and I have been surrounded by animals since I got my first pet at the age of 6. I have always loved all kind of animals and took care of them myself. As I knew I wanted to be working with animals I went to an agricultural school when I was 12 years old. Here we worked with small animals, reptiles and cattle as well. At the age of 16 I had chosen to specialize in small animals. It was a broad spectrum of animal care with a lot of internships. I have worked at a vet hospital, a pet shop, doggy day care center and grooming saloons as an intern. I early on discovered my passion for dog grooming and that is where I came in contact with my first PWD in 2007. I fell in love with the pupper and came in contact with the breeder Ilona Griffioen- van Beek/Casa Hoya`s. In 2009 I got my first PWD Pinacolada "Dulce". 

I do all kinds of activetis with them beside entering the show ring. Agility, obedience and rally obedience and ofcourse they love to swim and go for long walks in the forest.

In 2017 I registered my kennel Name Doce Eneas. Eneas is a Portuguese name that has the meaning of price worthy.  Doce comes from my first dog Dulce. Dulce is a portuguese name that comes from the Italian word Dolce wich means sweet. Doce is the Portuguese word for sweet.
